Dear EWGLA members, As most of you might recall, the duration of service for the EWGLA Coordination Board is 4 years, changing one member at a time during a EWGLA meeting such that the 3 members are from different countries. Thus, we are looking for a volunteer to replace Carmela Piccolo. According to the rules, eligible candidates are members of a EURO Society who do not work in Belgium or Spain. If you are interested, please send the board (ewgla-board(a)mail.euro-online.org) a one-page document where you state and promote your candidacy until Monday, 16 June 2024. This special issue is dedicated to the International Symposium on Locational Decisions (ISOLDE XVI 2023), which was held in Germany from 25 to 30 June 2023. However, contributions that were not presented at the conference are also welcome. Submissions presenting innovative research and addressing theoretical achievements, algorithmic development as well as real-world applications within Location Science are encouraged.
