Dear EWGLA community, Following the cancellation of the ISOLDE 2026 meeting in February, which we also shared on our mailing list, we received a proposal from the ISOLDE Steering Committee to transform the EWGLA 2027 meeting in İstanbul into a joint EWGLA-ISOLDE meeting in the EWGLA format. This proposal has been discussed with the EWGLA 2027 Scientific Committee, including the EWGLA Board and the EWGLA 2027 Chairs, and we are pleased to announce that: the EWGLA 2027 meeting will be held in Istanbul and will be a joint EWGLA-ISOLDE event. The original dates of 16–18 June 2027 will be kept, with the possibility of extending to include 15 June. Therefore, we recommend marking 15–18 June 2027 in your calendars. Further details will be shared with you. We look forward to meeting the entire Location community in İstanbul.
