CALL FOR PAPERS: ============================= The XV ECG (Encuentros de Geometría Computacional, in Spanish) will be held on June 26-28, 2013, at the School of Engineering of the University of Seville, Spain. The focus of the conference is on current topics in discrete and computational geometry, including both theoretical and applied results. EGC has been held since 1990 (bi-annually since 1995) and combines a strong scientific tradition with a friendly and informal atmosphere. The conference will feature presentations of accepted submissions as well as invited talks. As in the previous EGC, the meeting will have an international character, and we would be pleased to welcome all CG-community members interested in joining us in this event. Authors are invited to submit articles describing original research in computational & combinatorial geometry. Notice that EGC'2013 will not have formal proceedings. A booklet of abstracts, without ISBN number, will be distributed among attendees. In order to guarantee that submissions are in scope and not below basic standards, there will be a limited review process. Contributions presented at ECG are expected to appear in other conferences with formal proceedings and/or in journals. EWGLA XX - Last call for papers Dear colleagues, We kindly remind you that tomorrow is the last day for abstract submission for the 20th EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis Meeting, EWGLA XX, to be held in Ankara, Turkey on April 17-19, 2013. The conference will take place in the conference center of the TOBB University of Economics and Technology. EWGLA XX - New Submission Deadline: 31st of January 2013 Dear colleagues, We are extending the deadline of abstract submission for the 20th EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis Meeting, EWGLA XX, to be held in Ankara, Turkey on April 17-19, 2013. The conference will take place in the conference center of the TOBB University of Economics and Technology. During the EURO Mini-Conference on VNS took place in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, October 4th-7th 2012, researchers all around the world presented their most recent findings on VNS, either from a methodological viewpoint or as applications to real world problems. ISOLDE website

Dear Location Researchers, During the last ISOLDE meeting in Japan, Gilbert Laporte said it's a pity that there is so little information available regarding the past ISOLDE meetings. We discussed that it'd be nice if we can have a website for ISOLDE. I volunteered to design such a website. The website address is: http://isoldeconference.org. As we discussed with Gilbert, I have designed the page in a way that people will be able to post some memories from the past ISOLDE meetings. In order to support the website, I also established a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/ISOLDE-Conference/534366156575345. All of the past ISOLDE meetings are listed on the events page. It is easier to post pictures and comments for each of the meetings through these event pages. You should be able to access these pages without being a Facebook member. For those of you who are a member of Facebook, you can "like" this page to be informed about recent posts and pictures. Also, you can "join" the past meetings that you have attended and keep track of how many ISOLDE meetings that you have been to. I have put all the information that I have to the website in addition to some pictures that I could get. I'm especially in search of the group photos taken in all of the past meetings. It would be wonderful if the past meeting organizers can send group photos or any additional information to share through the website. If you are interested in organizing a session or just to submit a paper please email me. Each session needs to include 4 talks (in case you are oversubscribe or under subscribe I will try to balance it between the sessions if need be). The deadline is end of the month but we will see if extensions are possible. - Talks are encouraged to include both components namely heuristic (meta-heuristics) and exact though individual ones will not be excluding. - Areas of interest cover any combinatorial/global optimization problem that is either practically useful or academically interesting.
