Bogi and Joerg have provided invaluable contributions and outstanding efforts since 2018 and 2015, respectively. Through this e-mail, we would like to already thank them both very much! Please, answer all of them. We have two different registration fees, depending on wheter you need accommodation or not. The "basic registration fee" is £125. Deadline is 15 August. The "full registration fee" is £525. It includes the same things as the basic registration fee plus 3 nights of accommodation (check-in is Wednesday 6 September and check-out is Saturday 9 September) at university central venues of KM Central and The Scholar. The room will be allocated to you at one fo the two venues by strict order of registration. Note that it is still high season in Edinburgh on the dates of the workshop. So, it may be hard to find a central accommodation cheaper than this. As we have a cut off date for the room that we have managed to block, the deadline is 7 July. TRAVEL GRANTS Through different funding bodies, we have managed to secure some funding to support with travel and accommodation expenses. If you wish to apply, please, indicate so in the registration by answering appropiately the relevant questions. Decisions on the award of these grants will be made and communicated as soon as possible, but they will not happen by the deadline of the full registration fee and grants will not be paid before the workshop takes place. Dear EWGLA members, Some ten years ago I retired from university and stopped my old semi-regular column on this list of location related references. I think my last one was January 2013, for those who remember. However, I never really stopped collecting the many new references I got news of that seemed of possible interest to the location community. So I have a quite large backlog to share, and will try to do so at an acceptable pace of between 20 and 50 per month as long as I have some in stock. Dear locators, as you might recall, from 2018, the duration of service on the EWGLA coordination board is 4 years, changing one member at every EWGLA meeting such that the 3 members are from different countries. Thus, we are looking for a volunteer to replace Boglárka G.-Tóth. According to the rules, eligible candidates are members society of EURO who do not work in Italy and Belgium. If you are interested, please send us a one-page document where you state and promote your candidacy until Monday, 19 June.
