Dear Locators,

the next ISOLDE & EWGLA meeting will be held in Kaiserslautern & Baden-Baden, Germany, 25 – 30 June 2023 (https://www.mathematik.uni-kl.de/opt/isolde2023/), and we hope to meet you all there!

We are pleased to announce that EWGLA is again offering a number of grants to support young researchers and researchers from economically weak countries for attending the meeting. These grants will cover your expenses for registration & accommodation up to a maximum of €750.

To apply, you have to be a member of EWGLA and you should send the following documents as a single pdf by e-mail to the EWGLA Board (ewgla-board@mail.euro-online.org): - An extended abstract of two full pages, - Your CV, and - A letter of recommendation from your supervisor, if you are a PhD student.

Deadline for applications: 6 Mar 2023 Notification about grants: 24 Mar 2023

In return, you will be asked to prepare a 2-page report and, ideally, also a short video jointly with the other recipients of the grant, summarizing the conference.
