Dear EWGLA members,
As most of you might recall, the duration of service for the EWGLA Coordination Board is four years, changing one member at a time during an EWGLA meeting such that the three members are from different countries. Since Hatice was elected as board member in September 2022 (EWGLA of Aveiro), we had the agreement in the last meeting in Jerez that she completes her term of 4 years and we elect a new board member in 2026.
Thus, we are looking for a volunteer to replace Hatice Çalik. According to the rules, eligible candidates are members of a EURO Society who do not work in the UK or Spain.
If you are interested, please send the board (ewgla-board@mail.euro-online.org) a one-page document where you state and promote your candidacy until Friday, 30 October 2026.
