Subject: SOLA Cluster for 2012 INFORMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, October 14-17

Dear SOLA Members,

If you would like to organize a SOLA sponsored session for the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, October 14-17, 2012, please send us an email in your earliest convenience. The abstracts submission deadline is May 15; we have time, but we’d like to set up the sessions early so that your speakers have sufficient time to upload their abstracts.

Phoenix is America’s sixth-largest city that still has real cowboys and rugged mountains and the kind of cactus most people see only in cartoons. This cosmopolitan city is the gateway to the Grand Canyon, and its history is a testament to the spirit of puebloans, ranchers, miners and visionaries. The meeting will be held October 14-17, at the Phoenix Convention Center, under the leadership of Ronald Askin, Arizona State University, as General Chair.

For more information about the Annual Meeting, please visit http://meetings2.informs.org/phoenix2012/.

Hope to see you in Phoenix in October!
