Dear EWGLA members It is with sadness that I would like to let you that Professor Brian Boffey, one of the original founders of ewgla, has died on the 21 february 2026. His wife Pam has informed me last week by post. Though we were still in contact over xmas he was having a serious and terminal illness. Brian and I jointly organised the 9th meeting EWGLA 9 in 1996 at Birmingham. Attach is Brian order of service.
