The submission link to the special issue on location analysis is now open for submission in Networks and Spatial Economics web site. Here is the link

The deadline for submissions is 31 March 2024. Here is the official call for papers:
Facility location models involve the location of facilities that optimize an objective like minimizing the sum of distances, the maximum distance, maximizing
the captured market share, and many others. There are numerous practical applications for such models, such as locating service facilities or facilities competing for customers.
We are looking for suggestions of new models and applications, useful modifications of existing models, and better algorithms
(heuristic or optimal) for their solution. Review articles will also be considered.

I was invited to edit a special issue on location analysis by the
Networks and Spatial Economics Journal. I inquire if you, and you can ask your colleagues, have a paper in a few months that you would like to submit to such a special issue. The papers will, of course, be refereed by location researchers. Please indicate
your intention and a rough estimate of the time the paper will be ready. Once I get sufficient intentions to submit, and expected submission times, I will set up a deadline for submission.
