It is with a great sadness that we are announcing the cancellation of our ISOLDE XVII Conference proposed this year in Chicago.

Thank you to all who submitted your abstracts, we appreciate your contributions and interest in participating in ISOLDE. Nonetheless, after extending the deadline a couple of times, we ended up receiving 47 abstracts. Ultimately, these numbers are not enough to cover the high fixed costs of holding a conference in Chicago, even after trying to downsize the conference for a smaller group. 

Even though this year's event is cancelled, our planning committee has discussed about the next steps to save ISOLDE. So please stay tuned for future updates about this.
