EWGLA video for EURO 50th anniversary

Dear EWGLA Members, We have been invited to record a video clip to help disseminate the activities of the Working Group as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of EURO. The 3-5 minute video will be recorded on Zoom on 12 March between 12pm and 1 pm (CET) and it will be edited later by an editor for EURO, to be shown during the conference and thus being open to the broad community of EURO. Dear colleagues and friends, We are reaching out to you regarding some updates about the EWGLA website and social media accounts. For better dissemination and visibility of EWGLA activities as well as the ‘Location-related’ activities of the EWGLA members, we are currently in the process of setting up a public LinkedIn page and a BlueSky account for EWGLA. We will inform you when these new profiles are available and look forward to better disseminating our research to the world. As board members, we are committed to diversity, equality and inclusion. In this regard, we will be taking two actions. 1. At the invitation of the EURO WISDOM Forum<https://www.euro-online.org/web/pages/1654/wisdom>, we will include the following statement on the EWGLA website as well as in our calls for participation in EWGLA events: "We endorse the EURO WISDOM Forum<https://www.euro-online.org/web/pages/1654/wisdom> objectives to support, empower and encourage the participation of all genders in OR." 2. We will close the EWGLA Twitter account. As part of EWGLA's democratic tradition, we are open to receiving objections to any of our decisions.
