Dear Locators, We are thrilled to announce that the abstract submission is now open for the* EWGLA XXIX Meeting,* held at the *Sheffield University Management School (UK) on 19-21 June 2024*. Here is the official call for papers: Facility location models involve the location of facilities that optimize an objective like minimizing the sum of distances, the maximum distance, maximizing the captured market share, and many others. There are numerous practical applications for such models, such as locating service facilities or facilities competing for customers. We are looking for suggestions of new models and applications, useful modifications of existing models, and better algorithms (heuristic or optimal) for their solution.
