*IFORS 2017 - Call for invited sessions - OR in Healthcare * Dear Colleague, As you may know, IFORS 2017, the 21th Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies, will be held in Quebec, Canada, from July 17 to 21, 2017 (http://ifors2017.ca/). As organisers of the stream "OR in healthcare" we would like to cordially invite you to organise a session on associated topics. Manifestations of interest should be sent to ana.viana(a)inesctec.pt and joana(a)fe.uc.pt, with an indication of the topic to be addressed in that session and name(s) of the organiser(s). After acceptance of the topic, session organisers will be contacted with additional information regarding the abstract submission process. We are looking forward to hearing from you. The Lifetime Achievement in Location Analysis (LALA) award is a triennial honor awarded to a person who has made significant lifetime contributions to location analysis research. The award is given every third year at the closing dinner of ISOLDE, which will be held this summer in Toronto. Nominations will be received until May 31, 2017. The nomination process consists of sending by email the following three items: (1) A short letter of nomination, including significant reasons why this individual should be considered for this award. (2) An up-to-date curriculum vita of the nominee. (3) Information about citations and service to the profession for the nominee. *** Apologies for multiple copies *** DISCRETE MATHEMATICS DAYS 2018, Sevilla (Spain), June 27-29, 2018 FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT – DMD2018 - http://congreso.us.es/dmd2018 The Discrete Mathematics Days will be held on June 27-29, 2018, at the School of Computer Science of the University of Seville, Spain. The main focus of this international conference is on current topics in Discrete Mathematics, including (but not limited to): Algorithms and Complexity, Combinatorics, Coding Theory, Cryptography, Discrete and Computational Geometry, Discrete Optimization, Graph Theory, and*Location and Related Problems*. The previous edition of this conference was held in Barcelona (2016) inheriting the tradition of the Jornadas de Matemática Discreta y Algorítmica (JMDA), the Spanish biennial meeting (since 1998) on Discrete Mathematics. The scientific program will include invited talks and contributed talks, selected on the basis of an extended abstract which will be published in the Electronic Notes in Discrete Mathematics (ENDM).
