EWGLA XXI CALL FOR PAPERS - Submission deadline: 5 January 2015 Dear colleagues, This is the first announcement for the *21st EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis Meeting*, *EWGLA XXI**,* to be held in *Budapest, Hungary* on *May 20-22, 2015*. The conference will take place at the Corvinus University. More information regarding the conference can be found in the conference web site: www.math.bme.hu/ewgla2015 *Aims and Scope* The meeting intends to gather the operations research community from different parts of the world to share experiences in the field of locational analysis We invite participation from all areas related to location theory including: - network location, - continuous location, - discrete location, - obnoxious location, - competitive location, - hub location, - location-routing, - advanced location models, - location applications (logistics, network design), - exact and heuristic solution methods. Contributions are welcome from academia, industry or the public sector. Election of new EWGLA Coordination Board

Dear Locators, The deadline for submitting proposals for the new EWGLA Coordination Board has expired. We received one proposal for a new EWGLA board, which we attach. The proposal is by: Jörg Kalcsics (Germany) Sergio García Quiles (Spain) Olivier Péton (France) The current EWGLA board confirmed that all the conditions for the proposal are satisfied. Since we have only one proposal the voting process can simplified. Please send emails to the current EWGLA board in case you object to these candidates. You may also send emails to support them. If the number of "No" votes is less than 50% of the number of EWGLA members, then the candidates are elected. The election period starts on October 2nd and ends on October 31st 2014.
