The 3rd Winter School on Network Optimization
(http://NetOpt2013.fc.ul.pt) will take place at the Hotel Sana,
Estoril, from the 14th to the 18th of January, 2013. Its main objective
is to provide an opportunity for PhD students to get together
and attend high level courses in the field of Network Optimization.
Non-PhD students are welcome to attend the school,
but the number of participants is limited and priority will be given
to PhD students.
Since the first edition in 2009, the school has been part of the
activities of the Centro de Investigação Operacional, University
of Lisbon as well as of the European Network Optimization Group
(ENOG).
The event is also endorsed by the EURO – the Association
of European Societies – and APDIO – the Portuguese OR society.

We apologize for multiple postings.
FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
=======================================
The Organizers of the 15th EGC Meeting have a great pleasure of inviting
you to take part in this Conference to be held in Sevilla, June 26-28, 2013.
We are convinced that the ECG2013 will be an excellent
opportunity for the Combinatorial & Computational Geometry community to get
together again in a pleasant
atmosphere, and, thus, we are looking forward to seeing you in Sevilla, the
capital of Andalucía, in 2013!
Please, visit the website (http://congreso.us.es/ecgeometry/) for more
information.
PLENARY SPEAKERS
=================
- Jorge Urrutia, UNAM, Mexico.
- Rolf Klein, University of Bonn, Germany.
- Pedro A. Ramos, University of Alcalá de Henares, Spain.
CALL FOR PAPERS:
=============================
The XV ECG (Encuentros de Geometría Computacional, in Spanish) will be held
on June 26-28, 2013, at the School of Engineering of the University of
Seville, Spain. The focus of the conference is on current topics in
discrete and computational geometry, including both theoretical and applied
results. EGC has been held since 1990 (bi-annually since 1995) and combines
a strong scientific tradition with a friendly and informal atmosphere. The
conference will feature presentations of accepted submissions as well as
invited talks.
As in the previous EGC, the meeting will have an international character,
and we would be pleased to welcome all CG-community members interested in
joining us in this event. Authors are invited to submit articles describing
original research in computational & combinatorial geometry.
Notice that EGC'2013 will not have formal proceedings. A booklet of
abstracts, without ISBN number, will be distributed among attendees. In
order to guarantee that submissions are in scope and not below basic
standards, there will be a limited reviewing process. Contributions
presented at ECG are expected to appear in other conferences with formal
proceedings and/or in journals.
A special issue with selected papers is planned to be published in a CG
journal.
Please see the call for papers and the submission instructions for details.
We invite all researchers, academicians, practitioners, as well as students
interested in any branch of combinatorial & computational geometry
to participate at the Meeting and to present their papers.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
· discrete and combinatorial geometry;
· linear programming applied to geometric problems;
· geometric algorithms and data structures;
· theoretical foundations of computational geometry;
· questions of interest in the implementation of geometric algorithms;
· applications of computational geometry (computer graphics, virtual
reality, robotics, simulation and visualization, solid modelling, CAD,
pattern recognition, graph drawing, circuits layout, image processing, GIS,
multimedia and animation, etc.);
