Dear colleagues, We are thrilled to announce that the ROADEF/EURO 2026 Challenge is officially open! This year's edition, titled "Keep the Flow!", focuses on the optimization problem of T-Adaptive Segment Routing (T-ASR). Proposed by Orange Research, the challenge invites participants to design efficient optimization algorithms for routing in large-scale telecommunication networks, taking into account scheduled maintenance interventions and reconfiguration budgets. Watch the official teaser for a quick overview of the problem: https://youtu.be/D1jubmosffI?si=tHLxgXFQkhauTjok Key resources already available: Detailed subject description: full technical specifications. Initial dataset (Set A, for the sprint phase): to begin testing your algorithms. Solution checker: a C++20 tool to validate your results. Networktools Library: A fast header-only C++20 library for modeling and solving network optimization problems. Prizes & Participation: The competition is endowed with a total prize pool of €35,000, with categories for best teams, junior researchers (students), and scientific contributions. Find all information regarding rules, organization, and the roadmap (Sprint, Qualification, and Final phases) at https://roadef.org/challenge/ We look forward to your innovative solutions and wish you the best of luck! Sincerely, The ROADEF challenge team: Zacharie Ales, Ronan Bocquillon, Eric Bourreau, Safia Kedad-Sidhoum, David Savourey. The Orange Research challenge team: Amal Benhamiche, Yannick Carlinet, Morgan Chopin, Éric Gourdin, Nancy Perrot. Dear colleagues! Optimization 2026 is the 11th edition of a series of Optimization international conferences held every three years, in Portugal, see https://optimization2026.iseg.ulisboa.pt/ This meeting will be held at ISEG, University of Lisboa, July 20-22, 2026, and aims to bring together researchers and practitioners with common interests in optimization. This conference series has international recognition and is being organized under the auspices of APDIO (the Portuguese Operations Research Society). Plenary speakers will be: Adam N. Letchford | Lancaster University, United Kingdom Boglárka G-Tóth | University of Szeged, Hungary Claudia Archetti | University of Brescia, Italy Dick den Hertog | University of Amsterdam, Netherlands Gabriela Eichfelder| Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany Tom Van Woensel | Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands You are most welcome to propose a Special Session with 3 or 4 talks. Abstract submission deadline or Session proposal: 10 April 2026, https://optimization2026.iseg.ulisboa.pt/submissions.php Looking forward to meeting you in Optimization 2026!
