? The 9th edition of the Winter School on Network Optimization will take place at Hotel Estoril-Éden, Monte Estoril, from the 20th to the 24th of January 2020. Its main objective is to provide an opportunity for PhD students to get together and attend high level courses in the field of Network Optimization. Non-PhD students are welcome to attend the school, but the number of participants is limited and priority will be given to PhD students. In this edition of the school, the lecturers and subjects to be addressed are: Arie Koster (RWTH Aachen University) - Robust Network Optimization; Elena Fernandez (Universidad de Cadiz) - Formulations for Location-Routing; Hande Yaman (KU Leuven) - Hub Location Problems; Ivana Ljubic (ESSEC Business School of Paris) - Branch-and-Benders-cut algorithms: modern implementations of Benders Decomposition; Mario Ruthmair (University of Vienna))- Optimization in Social Networks? The school is part of the activities of the of the ENOG (European Network Optimization Group). The event is also endorsed by the EURO (the Association of European Societies) and APDIO (the Portuguese OR society). *Second Announcement and Call for Papers - Registration is now open* Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce the INFORMS Telecommunications and Network Analytics Conference (TNAC), which will take place at Zuse Institute Berlin (ZIB), on March 29 - April 1, 2020 in Berlin, Germany (http://informs_tnac2020.zib.de/) INFORMS TNAC 2020 (previously INFORMS Telecommunications Conference) is the 15th of bi-annual conferences held by the INFORMS Telecommunications and Network Analytics Section. The conference is going to be focused on the theory and application of operations research and management science to problems in telecommunications and network analytics, with particular emphasis on new and emerging technologies. Additionally, the conference is going to provide a platform for academics and industry experts working in telecommunications and network analytics to exchange ideas and initiate new collaborations, as in previous conferences. Submissions from the interested researchers are welcome for an organized session with 3-4 presentations, a tutorial session or a single presentation. The candidates will be required to have basic knowledge of Mathematical Optimization, Operations Research or Statistical Data Analysis. Due to the limited capacity there is an application processes for those that want to participate.
