A PhD studentship in optimization of Multimodal Transportation Systems is
available at the Department of Operations and Systems Management of the
Portsmouth Business School. We are seeking exceptionally talented and
motivated students with a strong mathematical background.
Applicants will have a good first degree (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) and
Masters in mathematics, transportation engineering, operations research,
computer science, industrial engineering, economics, or another subject
relevant to business and management. Solid records in linear optimization
and familiarity with (preferably) C/C++ or Java are very essential.

The 22nd IEEE CAMAD (http://weber.itn.liu.se/~vanan11/CAMAD17/), taking place in Lund University from 19 to 21 of June 2017 will be hosting a series of technical panels. To this end it openly invites the submission of proposals for panels focusing on emerging topics of particular interest to the industry and research communities in the field of 5G wireless communications, networking, and associated applications and services.
Panel sessions are 60-minute moderated discussions on a specific topic, which will be scheduled daily between Monday-Wednesday of the conference (19-21 June 2017).
Proposal Submission Deadline:
· Proposal Deadline: March 30, 2017
· Acceptance Notification: April 6, 2017
Panel Proposal Format
Each panel proposal (maximum 5 pages) should include:
1. Title of the panel
2. Names, addresses, and a brief bio of the organizers
3. A brief description (1 page max) of the technical/industry issues that the panel will address, emphasizing its timeliness
4. Names, addresses, and a short biography of proposed 3-5 panelists (it is highly recommended that the proposed panelists represent both academia and industry.)
5. Planned format of the panel, such as planned presenters, topics, etc.
